The representative and three staff visited HANSUNG, a Korean sealing manufacturer with whom we exchanged business cards at the exhibition.

What is the rubber material supply situation in Korea?
Many would still remember that rubber materials were not easily available due to several factors since the
COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
In Japan, the supply of FKM (fluorine-contained rubber) was significantly affected.
The supply became stable recently, but price quotes were rejected in many cases at that time.
However, Korea supplied FKM products to Japan smoothly.
The largest reason for stable supply of FKM in Korea is the existence of Samsung.
Samsung, the world’s second-largest company in terms of semiconductor sales in 2023, secured huge supplies of rubber materials to avoid slowing down production in
Korea.
as no one predicted the COVID-19 pandemic, it is almost impossible to predict when materials will become short
supply again.
We will continue to strengthen our connections overseas and expand the options available to our customers.
