Heat resistant gloves, Atsukam Gloves
Gloves characterized by heat resistance & workability, and suitable for use in any hot environment.

Features
Low thermal conductivity
Not only work gloves which are not heat-resistant, but also general heat-resistant gloves have the
disadvantage of high thermal conductivity (heat is easily transferred to the palm).
Atsukam Gloves achieves low thermal conductivity by layering heat-resistant fiber and aluminum on the palm
side and sewing them together to form a layer.
Heat resistance
While upper temperature limit of general heat-resistant gloves is 300 degrees Celsius, Atsukam Gloves available in standard heat-resistant lineups of 200-300 degrees Celsius, 500-600 degrees Celsius, and 700-1,000 degrees Celsius.
Workability
Leather gloves are often used in a manufacturing setting.
While leather gloves are hard from the start and harden with use, becoming even more difficult to work with,
Atsukam Gloves are made of fiber and its workability is high.
Atsukam Gloves are suitable not only for carrying heated items for short periods of time, but also
detailed work such as maintenance and inspection work using tools which are difficult to handle with
leather gloves!
In addition, Atsukam Gloves are thinner and compact compared with other heat-resistant gloves on the market
with the similar upper temperature limit.
Three benefits
Contribute to factory safety measure
In areas where heat is used, we strongly recommend using heat-resistant tools appropriate for the
temperature.
Workers can work more safely and securely compared to layering several gloves.
In particular, for manufacturing customers, Atsukam Gloves can contribute to safety and health management to
meet factory safety standards.
Low running cost
As you can see, the Atsukam Gloves are mainly made of fiber, which has lower risk of hardening like leather
gloves.
You can use them repeatedly for a long time.
Easy to work in high temperature environments
Generally, the heat-resistant gloves become thicker as the upper temperature limit increases, which lead to
decrease in workability.
Workers have a hard time with maintenance and inspection due to difficulty in performing detailed work. (On
the other hand, thin gloves have poor heat resistance.)
Atsukam Gloves use different materials depending on heat resistance grade, so you can use gloves of high
heat resistance grade just as comfortably as a low heat resistance grade.
Atsukam Gloves are perfect to perform detailed work in high
temperature.
Track records
A pharmaceutical manufacturer’s case
Workers wear two layers of work gloves when emergency construction work is required for pipe
maintenance.
However, the heat quickly transfers to workers’ palms so they have to let their hands cool down each time,
which takes time.
In addition to heat resistance, Atsukam Gloves have five fingers just like
work gloves, making them easy to perform maintenance work.
※Optionally, you can add a silicone backing to prevent slipping. (Maximum heat resistance 300 degrees Celsius)
A blast furnace manufacturer’s case
Workers wore safety shoes when walking on top of furnaces that are around 600 degrees Celsius,
but the sole of the shoes gradually melted due to the extreme heat.
We proposed and manufactured heat-resistant shoe covers. As a result, the covers improved safety in the
factory and also contributed to extending production time.
